NOTICE

 The Kamas City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comment on proposed increases to the culinary water and sewer rates. The proposed increases are to fund ongoing operations of the systems and will go into effect July 1 each fiscal year. Public comments are welcome and can be made in person at the scheduled time and place for the public hearing or submitted via email to info@kamascityut.gov. All comments will be distributed to the city council and entered into the public record. All written comments must be received prior to the meeting start time to be considered. The meeting will be held at the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas. In compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this hearing should notify the City Clerk (783-4630) at least 3 days prior to the hearing.

The purpose of the hearing is to accept public comment for the 2025-2026 fiscal year tentative budget. There will also be a public hearing to accept public comment for the 2024-2025 fiscal year amended budget. In compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this hearing should notify the City Clerk (783-4630) at least 3 days prior to the hearing.
