FULL-TIME PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE
Kamas City has a full-time employment opportunity for the position of Public Works Laborer I, Laborer II, or Laborer III. Under the supervision of the Public Works Director, performs a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, facilities, and tools. Handles a variety of materials, conducts clean-up activities, and provides general maintenance of city right-of-way and related utilities. A current CDL driver’s license will be required at the time of being hired or within six (6) months. Water and sewer certifications will be required within eighteen (18) months of being hired. Starting salary depending on experience and qualifications are as follows:
Laborer 1: $18.04-$25.26, Laborer II: $22.31-$31.23, Laborer III: $25.67-$35.93 per hour, along with an excellent benefit package. This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week. FULL-TIME POLICE SERGEANT
Kamas City has a full-time employment opportunity for the position of Police Sergeant. Under the direction of the Chief of Police, performs a variety of law enforcement duties related to enforcing laws, maintaining peace, and protecting citizens of the city. Engages in various community-oriented policing and public safety activities, processes, projects and programs. Patrols the city to interdict in any criminal activity, render aid, arrest or cite, and respond to medical needs.
Salary $34.15 to $47.81 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, along with an excellent benefit package. This position requires 40 hours per week, POST Certification required. REQUEST FOR BID
PART-TIME CUSTODIAL SERVICES FOR KAMAS CITY HALL AND EVENT CENTER
Kamas City is accepting bids for cleaning services to maintain a clean environment at the Kamas City Hall and Kamas City Event Center. This position would require cleaning of the Kamas City Hall weekly, approximately 2 hours per week and the Event Center twice per month, approximately 2-3 hours each time. This opportunity is open to experienced custodial service providers who can deliver high-quality service on a part-time basis. Duties include, but are not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, cleaning kitchen, dusting, taking out the trash, and disinfecting surfaces.
