COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
SECOND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Kamas City will hold a public hearing to discuss the project determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program Year 2026. The application is being made to upgrade the Kamas City Sewer Treatment System build an irrigation system at the Kamas sewer ponds located at approximately 800 W Simpson Lane (40°39'22.93"N, 111°17'45.05"W). The irrigation system will include a 300 s.f. pump house that will include two vertical turbine pumps that will pump between 350 to 450 gpm, including all required electrical equipment, required piping and necessary appurtenances; a two wheeled center pivot irrigation system that can discharge between 350 to 450 gpm and 1,350 lineal feet of 6” pipe necessary to get the treated wastewater from the treatment plant to the pivot. Comments will be solicited on the project scope, implementation, and its effects on residents. The hearing will begin at 6:00 P.M. on May 12, 2026 and will be held at the at the Kamas City Hall, 170 North Main, Kamas, Utah. Under the supervision of the Public Works Director, performs a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, facilities, and tools.
